Smartphone maker Oppo is set to launch its highly anticipated Reno 14 5G series in India today, with the launch event scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM IST. The series is expected to include two models — the Oppo Reno 14 and Oppo Reno 14 Pro — both of which have already debuted in the Chinese market.
With design and hardware details largely known, today’s event is expected to reveal India-specific pricing, availability, and any additional region-based features.
Staying true to the Reno series’ reputation for sleek design and advanced imaging, the Reno 14 lineup is expected to focus on AI-powered photography, improved battery life, and overall performance upgrades.
According to industry sources, the Reno 14 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, built on a 4nm process for improved efficiency and performance. The standard Reno 14 may feature the Dimensity 8350 chipset, also based on 4nm architecture.
Both phones are tipped to support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage, placing them among the most powerful devices in their segment.
The Reno 14 is expected to sport a 6.59-inch flat OLED display, while the Reno 14 Pro could feature a slightly larger 6.83-inch curved OLED panel. Both models will likely support a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
Oppo is also equipping the devices with Crystal Shield Glass for enhanced screen protection and durability.
Camera performance remains a highlight of the Reno series. The Reno 14 Pro is rumored to feature a quad-camera setup on the rear, consisting of:
50MP main sensor with OIS
50MP ultra-wide lens
50MP telephoto periscope lens (3.5x optical zoom)
A fourth 50MP sensor, likely for portrait photography
The standard Reno 14 is expected to offer a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
Both devices are expected to include a 50MP front-facing camera, emphasizing Oppo’s focus on high-quality selfies and video calls.
The Reno 14 series is also expected to impress with its battery features. The base Reno 14 could be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and 80W fast wired charging, while the Reno 14 Pro may come with a slightly larger 6,200mAh battery and support for 50W wireless charging via Oppo’s AIRVOOC technology.
While official prices will be announced during the launch event, the devices are expected to be competitively priced, following the Chinese launch:
Oppo Reno 14: Starts at CNY 2,799 (approx. ₹33,200)
Oppo Reno 14 Pro: Starts at CNY 3,499 (approx. ₹41,500)
Given that the Reno 13 series launched in India between ₹39,999 and ₹49,999, a similar pricing structure is expected.
With a focus on design, AI-driven cameras, large batteries, and premium features, the Oppo Reno 14 series aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in India’s mid-premium smartphone segment. All eyes are now on Oppo to see whether it delivers any India-exclusive features or offers during today’s launch event.
